We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation.

Standard we aim for

We aim for the site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we’ve done

• Pages use a clear heading structure and landmarks, and each page has a “Skip to content” link.
• Everything can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Text and controls meet WCAG AA color contrast ratios.
• The moving backgrounds on the home page can be paused with the “Pause animation” button. They are switched off automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
• Decorative graphics and animations are hidden from screen readers.
• Pages reflow for small screens and zoom up to 400% without horizontal scrolling.
• No content flashes, and no content has a time limit.

How we check

This statement is based on our own review of the site, using automated testing and manual checks with a keyboard, zoom and reduced-motion settings. We review it when the site changes.
